Gamma Agro-Medical Processings Pvt.Ltd is promoted by Shri, P.B.Kaginalli, who has 30 years of experience in peaceful uses of Atomic Energy. Radio-isotopes are by products of nuclear energy program and are used in various fields like Industry (Radiography), Medical (Cancer treatment & Diagnosis), Agriculture (Fertilizer uptake, insect migration studies). Further it is being used for food preservation, disease control & sterilization of healthcare products. The Andhra Pradesh’s first versatile Radiation Processing Plant of One Million Curie Co-60 Capacity, which is built in collaboration with Board of Radiation & Isotope Technology ( A commercial wing of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai ) has started its commercial operation since 16 August 2008.

The plant is built in Plot No,1 Export Promotion Industrial Park,IDA Pashamylaram, Dist. Medak about 25km from Kukatpally, 40 km from Hyderabad just out side the prestigious 500’Feets outer ring road ,10 km from Patancheru town ,about 6 km from NH-9. Andhra being a spice hub ( No.1 in chillies & turmeric ) the unit is built to reduce the export rejects due to infestation and microbial load, it is a very versatile plant and can cater to the pharma industry for which, Hyderabad is known over the world over. It also open up another field of feeding lab animals with nutritionally rich and sterilized feeds which in vital for proper clinical trials.
